Ezekiel 40

“In visions of God he brought me to the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city to the south.” – Ezekiel 40:2. Brethren, Ezekiel has previously seen visions of corruption within God’s temple in Ez. 1:1, and 8:3. However, now he sees a vision of what’s to come. The Perfect and Complete future temple of God where Yeshua will dwell amongst His people. The city is likened to being south of Israel which would put it in Judah. Rightfully so, as King David was born through the line of Judah, and where The King of kings, the Messiah Yeshua came. Interpreters of the Bible have all said that Ezekiel 40-48 are the hardest to interpret because of the length of detail to the restoration of God’s New Temple. Pray for me as I read this, that the Holy Spirit will guide me. We will begin to embark on the incredible acuteness of God, His Holiness, Supremacy, and the future hope born-again believers have in dwelling with God personally to worship Him eternally. God bless you and may the Holy Spirit guide us all. 🙂
