Psalm 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Why is this chapter so remembered? Just like John 3:16, Psalm 23 is so well known and that’s not without reason- yet I don’t think the world knows it’s depth of meaning. It is The Lord that is our shepherd. He cares for us, provides for us, and protects us. We just simply need to follow Him and respond to His call. Jesus Christ, The Shepherd in action during His ministry. John 10:11 says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” He wasn’t just referring to Himself as A shepherd but was confirming Psalm 23 as The Shepherd. Preach to the lost today with love and sincerity. Let them see your heart is for them and not simply as one to preach the Gospel to. Love them as Christ loves us. God bless you today!
