Jesus Christ, The Great Stone.

Daniel 2:44-45 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.” King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was troubled by this dream that only could be explained by The One True Living God. The Chaldean sorcerers and astrologers could not interpret dreams because their merely men a their gods are not real. Daniel, by the provision of God explaining Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, had Daniel interpret for the King what the dream meant. Ultimately, kingdom’s of man, namely, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and the Roman Empire are predicted to come into power until a Great Stone cut out by no human hand would come and completely shatter these kingdoms. After a while, the Stone would grow into a mountain and inhabit the whole earth. This stone is not the pope and the Roman Catholic Church. It is Jesus Christ and the ministry of His gospel and grace. Jesus Christ rules supreme and will come soon to take His place as Alpha and Omega. Stand firm in confidence today. Jesus Christ is greater than any human kingdom, including ours today. Worship Him and pray for those who are being persecuted throughout the world and who may need the same kind of faith increase in the LORD. God bless you.
