Psalm 55:21-22 “His speech was smooth as butter, yet war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.” Brethren, strife and betrayal may come as close as the home that we live in, just like in David’s case. But we need to remember that God upholds the righteous. Just like through Psalm 55 where David was in this chapter where he even wanted to run away and relax away his worries. We all have those moments. But, as sinners saved by the grace of Christ, that now stand as righteous saints, we stand in adversity. God bless you!
