Acts 27:20 “When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope of our being saved was at last abandoned.” Brethren, as Paul was sailing by guard to appeal to Cesar the Gospel, a tempest rose that would’ve cost the 76 on board there lives. But that was not realized by the experienced sailors and confident roman centurions guarding the prisoners. As Christians, we are constantly observing men and women who think there life is fitting perfectly in their own mold. They, like us sometimes, have a false sense of security in themselves. But how can we truly rely on ourselves when the very air we breath causes us to be dependent on something outside of ourselves. Sometimes, people need dangerous circumstances to see their natural state, like the tempest for these men in Acts. I pray that we take the lesson learned here and always remember it deep within our hearts. That without God, nothing that exists…would exist, and there would be no point to life. I guess that’s why evolutionists are so desperately trying to prove that we were all created by stardust, but that hasn’t been proven nor will it. God has and always will be The Creator. Glory to God!
