Become the body!

Acts 15:25-26 “it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Brethren, I know that these verses are random but I couldn’t help but think about the togetherness of the church in the book of Acts. As the Word spread, there was true leadership and love displayed by Peter, Paul, Silas and Barnabas checking up on the Gentiles, and Jews amidst the various churches for their benefit of staying true to the Holy Spirit and God’s new covenant. I don’t know if we will ever have that today, given the cultural comfort of various churches nowadays, but humble leadership should rise up to lead the body of Jesus Christ just like in the days of Acts. Considering all of the persecution that our brethren are undergoing throughout the world, and the U.S. becoming increasingly anti-Christian, we are not unified in aiding or supporting each other. I personally don’t know how far I can go, aside from prayer to our LORD, but with the body as a unified body, our LORD can be glorified as we humbly cling together to the promises of our LORD and not waiver in faith as the world attempts to silent His wonderful gospel. God bless you today.
