Acts 8:30-31 “So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, ‘Do you understand what you are reading?’ And he said, ‘How can I, unless someone guides me?’ And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.” Amen! Brethren this chapter is not about obtaining power by the Holy Spirit, but instead simply being obedient to His leading. Philip was lead by the Spirit to help another in understanding the prophetic scripture of Isaiah that would lead him to hearing the Gospel. That’s what the Holy Spirit’s intention always will be-to lead others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is up to us to not misuse the Holy Spirit but be lead by Him for the sake of others. Today, listen to the Word of God and it’s leading to witness to someone who will be crossing your path today. Remember, with an omniscient (all knowing) God, nothing is an accident. God bless you!
