Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Our Lord is the lifter of our heads, our safety in times of trouble. He rejuvenates our faith and leads us along a path of right, holy living. But it’s not simply for us. You see God created all things, and when you create something, you expect to have it represent you. The same goes for us. We are all guilty of sin and condemned to hell if we don’t trust in Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior. But when we do trust in Him, we are no longer a slave to our sin, but instead we are slaves to righteousness through the LORD. Now slave in the OT was deemed a person practically part of the family that owned them. They jut ha a debt to pay. Our debt was paid through Jesus Christ. We simply get to serve God and glorify His name with splendor to look forward to in Heaven! Live today for God’s glory. God bless you!
