Psalm 5:8 “Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.” Good morning brethren. Today, there always seems to be various religious/cultic perversions, both within Christianity and outside of it. If it was up to man, we would continue to misuse and misinterpret scripture, but God’s Word is profound and to be taken with care to be interpreted in its context. The most responsible way to deal with the Word is to ask God to lead you in righteousness. He makes His ways straight before us so that we can wield the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6) with precision and reverence. David was a man of war. As spiritual armor wearers ourselves (Eph 6), we must learn to go into battle and spiritually handle our weapon (sword of the Spirit). Today brethren, begin to study the ins and outs of the verses. What, when, where, why, how, who? These are valid questions that will have you delve deeper into the depths of Spirit-filled scripture. God bless you all!
