Kiss God’s hand, not your own.

Job 31:27-28 “and my heart has been secretly enticed, and my mouth has kissed my hand, this also would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges, for I would have been false to God above.” Brethren, instead of glorifying God, Job spends his time stating what he hasn’t done against the LORD to deem himself righteous. Though I wonder if we’ve ever kissed our own hand at times. Have we ever wanted to gloat from personal accomplishment? Remember that we serve a God who created all things, thus how can we ever try to compare to His greatness? If we are going through our own personal trials, just hold on to the LORD in all of His splendor and majesty!
