Foundations.

Job 28:28 “And he said to man,‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’” Amen. A righteous man stands out in the darkness of the world. A man of integrity, honesty, perseverance, confidence, and character. But all those are nothing without being founded on fearing the LORD. It is from fearing God that everything else in us begins to emanate righteousness. If you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, it is because you were met with the realization that you’re a sinner separated from God by your sin. Thus, the fear of God turned your heart to the saving knowledge of His love displayed on the Cross. Walk today as the righteous do. Walk away from evil and cling to what is good-no matter how hard that may be. Don’t let anyone have anything bad to say about you today. Not that you try to be pristine and perfect, but that you get your hands dirty with work and righteousness to the point where no one can say that you walk as a hypocrite. Jesus got His hands dirty by clinging to righteousness perfectly! And we should strive for the same. God bless you.
